Dino’s Doggy Dos is a Philadelphia-based premium house call grooming service that brings professional pet care directly to your home. I understand that every pet is unique, which is why I’ve built my business around convenience and personalized care. I’ll arrive at your door with all necessary equipment to provide a complete grooming experience in the comfort of your own home, eliminating the stress and anxiety that traditional salon visits can cause.
I specialize in working with dogs under 40 lbs, offering comprehensive grooming services including luxury baths, quality haircuts, nail trimming and grinding, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. I can currently accommodate cats for non-haircut services only, as I would like to obtain more specialized training before offering cat haircut services. What sets me apart is my expertise in handling pets with behavioral and medical conditions that may make traditional grooming facilities unsuitable, while not sacrificing my quality of service. I’m committed to providing gentle, compassionate care for every pet while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.
Meet the Team!
I started working in a grooming salon in 2021 during my time at the University of Delaware. What was supposed to just be a college job, quickly became a passion. After graduating in 2024 with my bachelors in pre-veterinary medicine and minor of biomechanical engineering, I decided to continue with my career in grooming.
I also spent time in college working as a veterinary technician in both general and emergency practices, so rest assured your pets are in safe hands. This has been especially helpful, as I have an extra soft spot for senior pets and the scruffiest dogs you can find!
This soft spot led to my adoption of Dino, the leader and inspiration of the brand, in 2024. At a current estimated 14 years young, Dino is Philly’s sweetest cuddle-bug. When he’s not snoring, begging for early dinner, or rooting for the Eagles (Go Birds), he’ll be home working on the business’s books.
FAQs
What do I need to provide?
For the actual service, the first thing I’ll need from you is a space to bathe your dog. If you have a sink or tub with a handheld sprayer that would be my first option. Ideally smaller dogs would be bathed in an elevated sink, but all dogs can be bathed in the tub. Other than that, I’ll just need a towel, space to set up, and a direct wall outlet for my dryer. I need to be able to park close, any information about parking in your area, especially if it’s tricky, is helpful!
What's your cancellation policy?
A deposit equalling 25% of the estimated service cost will be collected at the time of appointment booking. If the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours from the service start time, the deposit will not be refunded. I understand that emergency situations arise, and will work with you on a case by case basis, but not on a patterned one.
What vaccines do you require?
This is one great benefit of house call grooming! Since I see dogs one on one and can sanitize everything between houses, I only require proof of up to date rabies. The rabies tag is not sufficient, it must be a vaccination document. Remember, keeping your dog’s rabies vaccine up to date is Pennsylvania law. I will discuss, verify, and evaluate the rare veterinary exceptions on a case by case basis. There will be a space to upload a vaccination document when booking, you may also just show me when I arrive for the first appointment.
What will my groom cost?
A menu of my services can be found linked to the booking button. I price based on weight and coat type. Since this is a luxury grooming service, the cost comes largely from the unmatched convenience, quality and expertise. In addition to the normal grooming business costs (Shampoos, sharpening, equipment, etc), I also have to factor my travel time, mileage, and gas into my services. You can find a cheaper groom, but you won’t find one with less value.
Why don’t you accept large dogs?
As much as I love big dogs, doing grooms in your home makes it significantly harder to accommodate them. Not only from a physical standpoint for me, but my equipment that’s designed to be portable, is not as sturdy or strong as what you would find in a mobile van or salon. In the future, if I get a mobile van or traditional salon space, big dogs will be welcomed with enthusiasm.
How often should I get my dogs groomed
This question is very situational however a good rule of thumb is every 4-6 weeks! Super low maintenance dogs with a chillaxing lifestyle can typically wait longer. Super long and fluffy dogs that go swimming every week, may need more frequent appointments. I’m happy to help you find the right schedule based on your lifestyle, priorities, and haircut expectations.
When should I get my puppy groomed for the first time?
For house call services, the sooner the better. While in a traditional salon environment, going too early runs the risk of your dog contracting a communicable disease from being unvaccinated, house call grooming is much more environmentally controlled! We can take things slow and start with just a bath and tidy.
How do I brush my dog at home?
Great Question 🙂 Music to a groomer’s ears. For most dogs, you just need a slicker brush and a metal tooth comb. Make sure the bristles on the brush are long enough to get through your dog’s coat. Use a technique called line brushing, where you lift the fur and brush what’s underneath, there are plenty of youtube videos to help with this. Use the metal comb to check your work and don’t forget about the ears, tail and between the toes!
Do you offer anesthesia free teeth cleaning?
No and I strongly recommend you don’t use these services. I understand anesthesia-free dental care sounds like a win-win situation. However, without anesthesia, you cannot properly get under the gum line or between the teeth. It looks like your dog’s teeth are healthier, but it is only visual relief. Your dog could still be suffering from severe dental disease after, and should see a veterinarian for regular dental x-rays and cleanings.
What I can do for your dog, and is automatically included, is brush their teeth with an enzymatic tooth paste. This will help temporarily freshen your dog’s breath and help soften plaque build up. However, without other regular dental care and intervention, getting their teeth cleaned by me during the occasional grooming service will also not be enough to prevent dental disease. The best way to keep your dog’s teeth healthy is to brush them at home daily.
Do you express anal glands?
No, it is often not in the best interest of your pet. If your pet needs their glands expressed, I recommend having it done at a vet, as groomers are only allowed to do external expression. At a vet’s office, the expression is done internally and is safer for the pet long-term. In most places, this is a technician’s appointment so you won’t pay an exam fee, just the service cost.

Max discount of 15% per service. If eligible for more than two discounts, discounts from referrals or reviews can be saved for use on the following service.
There is no limit to how many referral discounts you can acquire, but you will only be eligible to receive the discount after the new customer’s service is completed. New customer must give your first and last name, or name and number, as the referral source when booking in the additional notes section of the profile creation. Discount is given per client, not per pet.
A discount for leaving a google review can only be acquired once, make sure the name of the reviewer matches the name on your client profile.
First responders and military are eligible for a 10% discount on every service. Must show work ID or other form of verification for the first service, eligibility status will be recorded on your profile.
